We give thorough, comprehensive clinical examinations to every new patient at Burns Family Dentistry. This evaluation inspects gums, bone and teeth through our state of the art digital radiographs and intraoral cameras. The dentists at Burns Family Dentistry do full oral cancer screenings during this initial exam. After your examination, we reserve up to 60 minutes to conduct a consult, during which you may or may not have a dental cleaning, solely depending on how long it had been since your last scheduled dentist appointment. During this appointment, any of your treatment needs will be explained and addressed with a treatment plan. What is an Oral Cancer Exam?
