Debby graduated from Owens/Findlay University in 1997 (Ohio) with a degree in Business Management. She has over 20 years of experience in purchasing, production control and business management in the automotive, oil refining and insurance industries with over 15 years in Dental office management. Wilmington has been her home since 2005, previously living in Charlotte, NC and growing up in NW Ohio. Debby enjoys spending time with her family (she has two daughters; Laken and Kaelyn), running, reading, all things music, hiking with her dogs and crocheting. She enjoys the field of dentistry as well as interacting with patients at their appointments; every day is a good day to share a smile!

Mariann is from Boston and In 2020 decided to make Hampstead NC her home along with her four children. She has a real estate background along with 15 years of being in the dental field. Both careers allow her to do what she is passionate about. Helping people! When she is not working she enjoys going to the beach, boating, traveling, attending concerts and cheering on her Boston sports teams. Besides her children and her fur babies her biggest joy is her two grandchildren Briella and Jaxson who she loves spending time with. 

Graduated from the College of Healthcare Professions in Austin, TX as a Registered Dental Assistant in 2018. My wife is the reason I began my journey with dentistry (she is a RDA as well) because she always seemed so fulfilled after getting to spend the day helping patients understand how important oral healthcare is and how much a smile can change someone's whole day. We moved to Jacksonville, NC from Asheboro, NC but home will always be Abilene, TX. My time spent out of the office is with my wife Sierra, daughter Salem, and our 2 fur-babies Krash and Kratos. We love taking walks and bike rides on the weekends, driving around NC finding new things to see or try, watching F1, and cooking or baking new meals and treats.

Amber graduated from Old Dominion University in 2017 and recently moved from Charleston, SC, to Wilmington. Originally from Chesapeake, Virginia, she enjoys exploring new restaurants, walking the Loop, and spending time outdoors with her dachshund, Ellie Mae. Her interests include sunsets, the beach, boating, fishing, and traveling. On weekends, Amber helps raise money for land, hunting, and fishing conservation with national charity organizations.

Julie, a full-time hygienist, is from Concord, NC, and has lived in Wilmington since 2004. She received a bachelor's degree in Health Promotion from Appalachian State University prior to earning a degree in Dental Hygiene at Cape Fear Community College. With her educational background and love for healthy smiles, Julie is committed to providing a comfortable and educational experience. In her free time, she enjoys walking her dogs, fishing and kayaking.

Karen graduated from Tennessee State University in 1992 with an Associate degree in dental hygiene. She also earned an Associate Business degree from Miami University of Ohio. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio; Karen and her husband moved to the Wilmington area in 2013 to be near family. She has over 20 years of experience in dental hygiene. In her free time she enjoys the beach, golfing and tennis.

Keri attended UNC Chapel Hill where she graduated in 2000 with a BS degree in dental hygiene. After graduation, she moved to Raleigh where she met her husband Jon. A native of Wilmington, Keri eventually made her way back to the coast where she and Jon started their family. They are proud parents of 2 very active boys and one furbaby, a goldendoodle named Ruby. In their free time, they enjoy attending their boys sporting events, spending time on their boat and hanging out with family and friends. Keri stepped away from dentistry for a couple of years to spend some time with her boys but is excited to be back at Burns Family Dentistry and can't wait to reconnect with all of her previous and new patients!

Katie is a dental hygienist with more than a decade of experience in the dental industry. Following graduation from the School of Health and Life Sciences in Oxford, NC, she moved to Wilmington in 2008. She graduated from Cape Fear Community College with degrees in both Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene. She is also a former President of the Cape Fear Region American Dental Hygienists' Association. She always says, "Smiles are free but worth a lot." For fun outside of the office, she loves to swim in open water at Wrightsville Beach and has completed the 3.5 mile Swim the Loop race. She has a snuggly dog Buckle and an adventurous cat Mango. Travel and hosting dinner for her friends are what she and her husband do best together. She can't wait to see all your lovely smiles.

Dana has been a dental assistant since 2004. Natives of Charlotte NC, Dana and her husband moved to Wilmington in 2015. She loves working in the dental field and her true passion is being able to make the patients feel at home and comfortable during their visit. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Hank and June, usually on the water.

Katy graduated from Cape Fear Community College's Dental Assisting Program in 1996. Over the last 19 years, she has built her career on the principal of caring. As a Wilmington native, Katy enjoys many outdoor activities the area offers. In her spare time you may catch her walking her dog Tasha, paddle boarding or volunteering at church.

Victoria is a dental assistant with over 17 years of experience and a passion for Dentistry. Victoria and her four children Tyler, Dylan, Landon and Zoe love Wilmington but are natives of Northern Virginia. She loves spending time at the beach with her family, going to concerts and drawing. Her understanding and compassionate demeanor helps patients with high anxiety to feel comfortable and relaxed.

Madison graduated from Miller Motte with her associates in dental science in 2014. Native to Charlotte, she moved to Wilmington to start her career as a Dental Assistant. Her mother was a Wilmington native and wanted her to be where she wishes she could be! Madison started off in Pediatrics for 5 years and now has come to love general dentistry and what it has to offer. She enjoys helping people of all ages to make their smile how they envision it, as well as making them feel comfortable in the dental chair. She loves to spend her time with her 3 sweet pups, Angel, Buddy and Camo, and her husband, James. Madison and her family love going on their boat and fishing.

Born in CT, raised in Wilmington from a young age, Danielle graduated from CFCC’s Dental Assisting program in 2003. She is passionate about patient care! Danielle's happy place is the beach and she is a mom to 3 kids that keep her extremely busy. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her babies, crafting or wearing her aesthetician hat!

Morelia graduated from Miller Motte College with her associate’s in dental science in 2023. She was born in Houston, Texas in 1999. Her parents moved to Wilmington in the 2000’s and it has been home ever since. Morelia is bilingual, although she was born here, her heart lays in Michoacán where her grandparents live. Morelia started off working in general dentistry in 2022 while attending college. She has come to love it and wants to continue learning more along her journey in the dental world. She enjoys helping people and easing their concerns. She loves spending time with her partner Ryan, her family, and friends. As well as their fur babies Chipi and Noodle.
